Book Cover Design Project

A book cover designed for the classical literary novel of “The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde” following the story and depth behind the duality of the collected, Dr Jekyll and his opposite, more chaotic side of Mr Hyde. The designs on this piece accentuate that notion in its most detailed form with the contrasting color on each side of the book as well as the background, modernistic illustrative elements that symbolize the dichotomy between both titular characters even more. The monochromatic colors used on each side of the cover really bring out the gloomy setting that was Victorian London at the time as well as the symbolized belief that both sides of the brain were morally opposite that inspired the creation of the story.
